"I purchased a McDermott Defy 12.5 shaft w/ QR. It was a very long wait due to COVID-19, but well worth the wait. I got it this afternoon and shot easily 50 racks before League started. The feel was incredible, glides effortlessly. I didn’t have a single miscue all night, zero deflection, amazing control of the cue ball. The shaft weighs slightly less then a Revo and a league operator that swears by Predator actually ordered himself a Defy shaft after shooting a few racks with mine because of the natural feel. By the way I won my 9ball match 16-4 not to bad for the shafts first league match."

Advantages: Light weight, smooth stroke, allows great cue control, even masse easily.

Disadvantages: Doesn’t come with joint protector. Very disappointed buying a $365 shaft and can’t get a $8 joint protector free with the shaft purchase after waiting 10months.
