McDermott offers 4 high-performance shafts including the McDermott i-Shafts and G-Core shaft. These shafts feature the triple-layer carbon fiber technology. G-Core shafts carbon fiber layers starts behind the ferrule extending down 7 inches into the taper. This construction results in accuracy and power normally felt in more expensive high-performance shafts. McDermott i-Shafts also feature the triple-layer carbon design starting behind the ferrule, however, extends the length of the shaft resulting in the most consistent hitting shaft on the market. This construction has minimized the inconsistencies experienced with traditional maple shafts. McDermott i-Shafts also feature McDermott's tenon tip technology where a portion of the ferrule inserts into the carbon fiber core.
