"The X5 is perfect for taller players, like me, who need something longer than a standard 58" cue. Without the extension, I was stuck with a bridge length of 5 to 6 inches (at most)if I wanted to position my grip and forearm properly for a pendulum stroke. Now I can bridge at 10-12 inches and use a much smoother stroke when I need power. It's a huge advantage. Aimee Reid at Manning Cues helped me return the butt extension I bought without talking with Heath or her (dumb move on my part) and set me up with the X5. I've been buying all of my equipment and supplies from Manning for more than a year and love the customer service. They've got my business as long as they want it. "

Matches up with my Joss Sneaky Pete perfectly. Joints between the cue forearm (butt end of cue), X5, and shaft are tight and seamless. Cue rolls straight and true when tested on the table at my house and the ones at the local pool hall.
The price is unbelievably low considering the quality of the X5, and the price of a custom cue.
Although the X5 adds 1.8 oz of weight, it's barely perceptible. The balance is outstanding as it moves the CG slightly forward to make the cue a tiny bit tip heavy, a bonus in my book. You can really make the CB dance with this extension.

"Glad to add this cue to my collection of well-known name pro-level cues. Beautiful intricate inlay with a perfect ultra-violent urethane finish. From a distance, the butt appears black but as one gets closer the pearl-colored inlays start to stand out. The balance is great and the grip easily allows anything from a firmer grip to a slip-stroke. The balance is good and so is the hit. Easy to properly complete one's stroke. The quick-release joint is a plus. I didn't go wrong with this cue."

"as someone who is all of 5'6" this is extender really helps when I am playing on a 8 or 9 ft table (although i still manage to find a use on a bar box table)"
Advantages: able to reach cue ball without using the bridge. fits nice and snug on bottom of cue to keep natural stroke.

"Great break cue. Much more consistent in sinking a ball on the break and getting a better spread around the table. The playing shaft is a nice to have for times when you only want to bring one cue and the jump handle is great for the close in jumps."
Advantages: Jump handle and playing shaft make this a great value. The quick-release jump joint makes it easy to switch from breaking to jumping.

"“I ordered a Pure X HXT15 for my son’s birthday. He absolutely loves it, no more house cues. It is a well-balanced stick, and the Low Deflection is much more forgiving than what he was playing with previously. I have never played the top of the line LD cues but this stick is a definite upgrade. You would be hard-pressed to find a better stick under $200. Regarding customer service, I had a problem tracking my order due to a typo. Heath personally fixed it, no two-hour-long run around with an operator. "Seems to be a great brush. Definitely natural hair instead of some kind of plastic. It's a good size and can get under the rails with relative ease. bristles are dense yet soft. "
