I feel the transfer of energy is very good and an improvement from the bk3. I dont have to put as much force into my break as I did with the bk3 and I can still spread them very well. Mezz makes low deflection shafts without resorting to splicing wood and lots of glue. The WX900 has a modified conical taper. If no one told you, you probably wouldn't notice that it's any different from a typical pro taper. I think it's similar to a Z3. Smooth as heck. Doesn't feel wobbly and loose like some LD shafts (looking at you, Predator). Hits great -- love it. Read more

I must say I love my new Cuetec Smart Extension. This new version will not only be able to screw into the back of a new weight adjustable Cue with the enclosed adapter,(it replaces the existing chrome bumper) but it also screws right into the back of the Older models that have the round bumper with a hole in it.
